Abstract
This Applied Final Research Project focuses on the development of a Nursing Process for a patient with visual impairment in a National Hospital. The intervention is structured within the conceptual framework of standardized nursing languages: NANDA-I (North American Nursing Diagnosis Association), NIC (Nursing Interventions Classification), and NOC (Nursing Outcomes Classification). The theoretical foundation is based on Callista Roy’s Adaptation Model, which guides the understanding of the individual's adaptive responses to health conditions. From a methodological perspective, the approach is grounded in the systematic application of the Nursing Process, carried out through its five sequential stages: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This framework enables the delivery of individualized, evidence-based, and goal-oriented care, aimed at promoting the patient’s adaptation, enhancing coping mechanisms, and improving overall quality of life.
