Abstract
El presente informe corresponde al Trabajo Final de Investigación Aplicada (TFIA) concerniente a la culminación del plan de estudios de la Maestría Profesional en Arquitectura con Énfasis en Vivienda y Equipamiento Social de la Universidad de Costa Rica. Así, la presente propuesta investigativa gira en torno a temas de Regeneración Urbana Integrada, situándola en uno de los barrios centrales del distrito Hospital del Cantón Central de San José, Barrio Los Ángeles.
El documento se organiza en tres partes principales, la primera de ellas corresponde al planteamiento investigativo, que incluye la justificación del tema, el objeto de estudio, así como el objetivo general, y los objetivos específicos; luego se desarrollan las reflexiones teóricas que generan el posicionamiento del proyecto y la estrategia metodológica por implementar.
La segunda parte del documento se concentra en el desarrollo de los resultados del estudio, luego se continúa con una fase de exposición de elementos para el diseño de la vivienda, el comercio, la pequeña industria, el equipamiento comunitario, la movilidad, y el espacio público, así como la contextualización de la metodología DCP en el barrio, a esto se suman los resultados de los mapeos realizados sobre el área del barrio. Y se cierra con un plan de acciones para la Regeneración Urbana Integrada en el barrio.
Como tercera parte, se colocan las principales conclusiones a partir del proceso general de la presente investigación aplicada.
This report corresponds to the Final Work of Applied Research (TFIA) concerning the culmination of the Professional Master's Degree in Architecture with Emphasis in Housing and Social Equipment of the University of Costa Rica. Thus, the present research proposal revolves around issues of Integrated Urban Regeneration, situating it in one of the central neighborhoods of the Hospital district of the Central Canton of San José, Barrio Los Ángeles. The document is organized in three main parts, the first one corresponds to the research approach, which includes the justification of the topic, the object of study, as well as the general objective, and the specific objectives; then the theoretical reflections that generate the positioning of the project and the methodological strategy to be implemented are developed. The second part of the document focuses on the development of the results of the study, then continues with a phase of exposition of elements for the design of housing, commerce, small industry, community equipment, mobility, and public space, as well as the contextualization of the DCP methodology in the neighborhood, to which are added the results of the mapping of the neighborhood area. And it closes with an action plan for Integrated Urban Regeneration in the neighborhood. As a third part, the main conclusions from the general process of the present applied research.
