Abstract

Oncological rehabilitation seeks the maximum possible functionality and quality of life for cancer patients. Given the high incidence of breast cancer, it has become necessary to find ways to provide timely and accessible rehabilitation, specially for those living far from health centers. This is the origin of telerehabilitation or virtual rehabilitation. This study aims to characterize mobile applications used in the rehabilitation of breast cancer patients, according to the four dimensions of well-being. These applications were identifies through a literature review. Of the 11 applications analyzed, 9 address social well-being, 7 physical well-being, and 4 psychological well-being, while none address functional well-being. Additionally, we offer recommendations for future breast rehabilitation applications.
