Abstract
The measurement of neurofilaments (NF) in cerebrospinal fluid of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) has been associated with the risk of progression and severity of the disease. The usefulness of this test at the serum level has been less studied, with no evaluations in Costa Rican populations. The objective of the present study is to evaluate the prediction cut-offs of serum NF levels for functional evolution and lesion burden in Costa Rican patients with MS.
