The present final graduation paper aims to analyze the cultural variant in a hospital environment, specifically in the surgical setting within the three areas of the perioperative period. This study is based on Madeleine Leininger's Transcultural Nursing Theory. From this perspective, it is crucial to be aware that we live in a globalized world in which constant migrations have generated a multicultural reality that cannot be ignored, especially when it comes to performing procedures that seek to improve people's health status. This study aims to investigate the experiences related to transculturality in the field of Surgical Nursing. To carry out this process, a descriptive approach has been employed as a research model. A semi-structured interview were conducted, and subsequently, the analysis of the obtained responses were analized. Among the main conclusions that can be highlighted is the fact that Transcultural Nursing is not limited solely to the recognition of different languages but involves providing a real space for the integration of various dimensions, recognizing the uniqueness of each person. It is important to emphasize that these conclusions are based on the analysis and interpretation of the data collected within the framework of this study. These conclusions provide an enriching vision and contribute to the understanding of the importance of transculturality in the practice of Surgical Nursing.
