Abstract
El presente artículo de revisión tiene como objetivo generar una reflexión en torno a la premura que debería estar presente en los países en vías de desarrollo, para que se priorice, como debe ser, la relevancia de elevar los estándares educativos y someterse a los procesos pertinentes de evaluación y acreditación en pro de una educación superior de calidad, que intervenga en la eliminación de brechas inter-países e intra-país. El abordaje metodológico de la investigación fue del tipo cualitativo, y se realizó a través de la revisión de literatura y el aporte analítico del autor, en referencia a que la calidad de la educación superior en el escenario actual de la llamada sociedad del conocimiento, reviste capital importancia por su repercusión directa en el desarrollo económico y social de una nación, por lo cual se dimensionan como resultados, que las mejoras en educación superior siempre repercutirán positivamente en el ser humano formado y en el colectivo como sociedad. De esta forma, se concluye que, para asegurar el desarrollo local de un país, se requiere educación de calidad, y para ello es importante lograr vínculos estratégicos como el de la universidad con las empresas y el Estado, y a la vez, la educación de calidad se asegura al someter los programas educativos a procesos de evaluación y acreditación como garantía de mejora continua en el tiempo, para asegurar la respuesta a las demandas país, desde el ámbito educativo superior.
The objective of this review article is to generate a reflection on the urgency that should be present in devel oping countries, so that the relevance of raising educational standards and submitting to the processes is prioritized, as it should be. pertinent evaluation and accreditation in favor of quality higher education, which intervenes in the elimination of inter-country and intra-country gaps. The methodological approach of the research was of the qualitative type, and was carried out through the literature review and the analytical contribution of the author, in reference to the fact that the quality of higher education in the current scenario of the so-called knowledge society, has capital importance due to its direct impact on the economic and social development of a nation, for which they are dimensioned as results, that improvements in higher education will always have a positive impact on the educated human being and on the collective as a society. In this way, it is concluded that, to ensure the local development of a country, quality education is required, and for this it is important to achieve strategic links such as that of the university with companies and the State, and at the same time, the education of Quality is ensured by submitting educational programs to evaluation and accreditation processes as a guarantee of continu ous improvement over time, to ensure the response to the country’s demands, from the higher education field.
