This research aims to analyze the validity of the TPACK model as a theoretical reference for the evaluation of teaching performance in the virtual learning environment of the MBA Online program of the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, from the student´s perspective. The importance of this study was to explain the existing reality (teacher performance in virtual learning environments), in a systematic and measurable way, based on a positivist paradigm, quantitative and descriptive approach supported by statistical techniques (descriptive, non-parametric and inferential). It used empirical methods (questionnaire), were used, so that it allowed the researcher to reach conclusions (on the capacity of the model), which can be generalized on the relevance of the model as a theoretical reference, (Coello, et al., 2012). The research subjects were 59 activie students of the online master’s program in Business Administration. The data collection technique used was an online self-administered questionnaire, which was validated by experts. At the end of the research, evidence was obtained that determined the validity of the content an internal consistency (unidimensional) in each of the categories that represent the three subconstructs, according to what is established in the Classic Theory of Test, and not for the general scale. In addition, For the students of the Online MBA of the Latin University of Costa Rica, the faculty presents a good performance in Disciplinary Knowledge and Pedagogical Knowledge and a regular performance in Technological Knowledge.
