De la trascendencia de la plegaria en Cuentos de angustias y paisajes de Carlos Salazar Herrera

Abstract

Este artículo se concentra en analizar la construcción y la función de la metonimia en los Cuentos de angustias y paisajes (1990) de Carlos Salazar Herrera. Para ello, se parte primero del hecho de que el cuentario se caracteriza por ser espacial, en términos de Kayser, para luego demostrar, después de hacer un breve recorrido por los postulados teóricos de la metonimia, según Le Guern, Lakoof y Johnson y J. Lacan, que es gracias a esta que se conforme el espacio como el eje de los cuentos, ya que es mediante este tropo que se logra la relación personaje-espacio.

This article focuses on analyzing the construction and function of prayer in Cuentos de angustias y paisajes (1990) by Carlos Salazar Herrera. To do this, we start from the fact that the text is characterized by being spatial, in Kayser's terms, to later demonstrate, that since space is formed as the axis of the stories, and the character-space relationship is achieved generating anguish in all of them, leading them to the need of prayer. In order to stablish this, we present a brief tour of the theoretical postulates of prayer, according to Tzvetan Todorov, Fischer y Mannati.
