Estudios Histórico-Epistemológicos en Matemática Educativa: tendencias metodológicas en Latinoamérica

Abstract
Este artículo pretende describir las tendencias metodológicas de los estudios históricos-epistemológicos realizados por investigadores adscritos a instituciones latinoamericanas, a través de un análisis bibliométrico y un análisis de contenido de artículos de revistas especializadas en Matemática Educativa. Para el análisis bibliométrico se realizó una revisión sistemática artículos de corte histórico-epistemológico, cuya autoría tuviese filiación latinoamericana; se revisaron algunos indicadores bibliométricos de los mismos y los resultados muestran que la mayoría de la investigación de este tipo, realizada entre los años 2017 y 2022, tiene su mayor producción en Brasil y que existe cierta paridad de género respecto de las autoras y autores dentro de esta línea de investigación. Por su parte el análisis de contenido de los artículos seleccionados mostró las tendencias teóricas, los tipos de preguntas de investigación, los enfoques metodológicos y algunos otros aspectos recurrentes en este tipo de estudios, lo que permitió, a partir de este análisis sistematizar un procedimiento metodológico para el análisis de una obra histórica original. Los resultados obtenidos muestran una amplia variedad de estrategias metodológicas que reflejan tanto la riqueza conceptual del campo como sus desafíos. Finalmente, a partir de los resultados, se propone un esquema metodológico para el análisis histórico-epistemológico de obras originales.
This article aims to describe the methodological trends in historical-epistemological studies conducted by researchers affiliated with Latin American institutions, through a bibliometric analysis and content analysis of articles published in journals specialized in Mathematics Education. For the bibliometric analysis, a systematic review was carried out of historical-epistemological studies authored by researchers with Latin American institutional affiliation. Several bibliometric indicators were examined, and the results show that most research of this kind, conducted between 2017 and 2022, is produced in Brazil and that there is a relative gender balance among the authors involved in this line of research. The content analysis of the selected articles revealed theoretical trends, types of research questions, methodological approaches, and other recurring aspects in these studies. Based on this analysis, a methodological procedure was systematized for analyzing an original historical work. The results show a wide variety of methodological strategies, reflecting both the conceptual richness of the field and its challenges. Finally, a methodological framework is proposed for conducting historical-epistemological analysis of original mathematical works
