Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the evaluation and feedback processes from the educational administration perspective and their impact on the professional performance of teachers at the Lepanto Academic High School in Circuit 03 of the Dirección Regional de Educación Peninsular. Methodologically, it is developed using a qualitative approach and the type of research is a case study, as it seeks to understand the experiences shared by ten teachers and the principal regarding the teacher evaluation process. In order to collect the information, two semi-structured interviews were conducted, one with twelve questions for the teachers and another with sixteen questions for the educational principal. These interviews were validated by experts in evaluation and educational administration. The results show that, for teachers, the evaluation of their performance is a task carried out by the principal from a supervisory perspective, while the principal conceives such evaluation as a mechanism to verify compliance with previously established standards. Therefore, an improvement proposal is designed to enable teacher participation through the exchange of feedback, experiences, and needs among colleagues. Different workshops are proposed to strengthen joint participation between the principal and teachers in the evaluation process, highlighting activities for planning evaluations, designing instruments, and collaborative work that promotes self-evaluation and co-evaluation of teachers.
