LOOKING FOR THE IDEA: PATHS FOR THE RESEARCH ABOUT ANARCHISM IN COSTA RICA DURING THE FIRST DECADES OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY

Abstract

This paper studies the research literature refered to anarchist thought in Costa Rica during the first decades of the twentieth century. Given the short age of the line of research by the authors on this subject, the author presents a reconstruction of the main research lines to help locate anarchist political activity in Central America. The last part of the work sets a balance of posible reflections’ paths to establish a research agenda on anarchism in Costa Rica on the Central American context.

El siguiente trabajo plantea un balance bibliográfico sobre las investigaciones académicas que se refieren al pensamiento anarquista en Costa Rica durante las primeras décadas del siglo XX. Ante el faltante de una línea de investigación propia sobre esta temática, el autor plantea una reconstrucción de las principales dimensiones de investigación que permiten ubicar la actividad política anarquista en América Central. La última parte del trabajo, plantea un balance y rutas de reflexión posibles para establecer una agenda de investigación sobre el anarquismo en Costa Rica dentro del contexto centroamericano.
