Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar un tema de actualidad y'de interés para los profesionales de la salud, relacionados con la "nueva genética". Se tocan aspectos coma el proyecto del genoma humano, el nacimiento de la medicina genómica, su potencial en el campo de la salud y sus implicaciones éticas, legales y sociales.
