It addresses the relationship between transdisciplinarity and eco-formation from the information provided from the students attending our classes, specifically the methods and resources used to educate and build their own learning. It is an approach to student world to know which style they prefer training: self-training, co-training or eco-formation. It is through this approach that establishes a relationship between pedagogical processes and transdisciplinarity from three initial assumptions: the challenges of a complex society like the present; the eco-formation as an opportunity to develop the basis for complex thinking and the analysis students look over their own learning. The present paper is organized in three stages: 1. understanding and analysis of the concepts transdisciplinarity, complexity, self-training, co-education and eco-formation. 2. Description of the population reporting as well as fieldwork. 3.Analysis and interpretation of the findings about the styles of training the students to answer the question: are the students in our classrooms self-training, co-educating or ecotraining? It ends with the development of new questions and final thoughts
