Revisión bibliográfica sobre protocolo de tomografía de perfusión cerebral en pacientes adultos con evento cerebral vascular isquémico

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo consiste en una revisión bibliográfica cuyo objetivo es determinar la utilidad clínica de la tomografía de perfusión cerebral en pacientes adultos con diagnóstico de evento cerebral vascular, así como detallar las distintas variantes que se pueden establecer en su protocolo de realización para optimizar la fiabilidad diagnóstica del mismo y someter al paciente a la menor cantidad de dosis de radiación y medio de contraste posible.

The following work is a literature review with the goal of outlining the clinical utility of computed tomography perfusion of the brain in adult patients with the diagnosis of stroke, and specifying the multiple variants which can be incorporated in its protocol to optimize the diagnostic precision of the study, while submitting the patient to the lowest radiation dose and contrast media volume attainable.
