Mezclas drenantes. Informe de avance

Abstract

El siguiente informe analiza el comportamiento de las mezclas drenantes en las condiciones lluviosas típicas de Costa Rica y pretende generar un marco de especificaciones para su diseño y construcción. Con respecto a los resultados obtenidos, - No se encontró una diferencia significativa en las propiedades volumétricas obtenidas mediante el diseño Superpave y las obtenidas mediante el diseño Marshall. - Al utilizar mezclas muy finas, no se logra alcanzar el nivel de vacíos de diseño. - La cal en la mezcla mejoró la resistencia al efecto del agua.

The following report analyzes the behavior of draining mixtures in the typical rainy conditions of Costa Rica and aims to generate a framework of specifications for their design and construction. About the results obtained: - No significant difference was found in the volumetric properties obtained by the Superpave design and those obtained by the Marshall design. - When using very fine mixtures, it is not possible to reach the design voids. - The lime in the mixture improved the resistance to the effect of water.
