Abstract
El objetivo de este estudio es conceptualizar el término “emergía” y el procedimiento metodológico utilizado para evaluar la utilización de recursos en la generación de bienes y servicios, conocido como síntesis emergética, junto con sus implicaciones en la agricultura. Se realizó una investigación documental mediante la recopilación de información fundacional para comprender este método. En conclusión, el análisis emergético en sistemas productivos proporciona un importante flujo de información para la toma de decisiones en el desarrollo de proyectos agrícolas. Esto permite estimar valores para diversos componentes de los sistemas ecológicos y productivos, así como defiir condiciones de sostenibilidad para la formulación de políticas públicas.
The aim of this study was to conceptualize the term “emergy” and the methodological procedure used to assess resource utilization in the generation of goods and services, known as emergy synthesis, along with its implications in agriculture. A documentary investigation was conducted by compiling foundational information to understand this method. In conclusion, emergy analysis in productive systems provides a significant flow of data for decision-making in the development of agricultural projects. This enables estimating values for various components of ecological and productive systems, as well as defining sustainability conditions for formulating public policies.
