Informe de avance desarrollo de un sistema para la conservación vial en la municipalidad de Cartago

Abstract

Se realiza una evaluación de la RVC de Cartago, para obtener una base de datos con diferentes características técnicas de la infraestructura vial de la red. El diagnóstico también es insumo para definir los objetivos y metas institucionales, con el objetivo principal de desarrollar un plan quinquenal de conservación de la RVC de Cartago.

Se evalúa el uso y operación de la RVC y se categorizan las rutas según su función o importancia. Las vías se dividen en las siguientes categorías:

_ RVN: Rutas nacionales (Red Vial Nacional). _ Rutas de travesía: Unen dos secciones de RVN. _ RVC primaria: Brindan movilidad dentro de la ciudad. _ RVC secundaria: Colectoras, conectan vías primarias y terciarias. _ RVC terciaria: Brindan acceso a propiedades y casas.

La clasificación se determina con la experiencia de la Unidad Técnica de Gestión Vial (UTGV) de la Municipalidad. También se realiza un recorrido preliminar por la RVC, para determinar puntos estratégicos de mayores volúmenes y observar un panorama general de la movilidad en la RVC. Se adjunta un mapa con la clasificación de la RVC del casco central de la Municipalidad de Cartago.

An evaluation of the RVC of Cartago is carried out, to obtain a database with different technical characteristics of the road infrastructure of the network. The diagnosis is also an input to define the objectives and institutional goals, with the main objective of developing a five-year conservation plan for the RVC of Cartago. The use and operation of the RVC is evaluated and the routes are categorized according to their function or importance. The roads are divided into the following categories: _ RVN: National Routes (National Road Network). _ Crossing routes: Link two sections of RVN. _ Primary RVC: Provide mobility within the city. _ Secondary RVC: Collectors, connect primary and tertiary roads. _ Tertiary RVC: They provide access to properties and houses. The classification is determined with the experience of the Road Management Technical Unit (UTGV) of the Municipality. There is also a preliminary tour through the RVC, to determine strategic points of higher volumes and observe a general picture of mobility in the RVC.
