Revisión bibliográfica sobre los hallazgos radiológicos del cáncer de mama, con énfasis en las pacientes menores de 40 años

Abstract

La siguiente revisión bibliográfica tiene como objetivo principal determinar cuáles son los hallazgos radiológicos más frecuentes del cáncer de mama, con énfasis en la población fe- menina menor de 40 años, así como cuáles son las conductas para seguir por parte del radió- logo. Además, se realiza una correlación de estos hallazgos con sus resultados histopatoló- gicos y moleculares. Para complementar lo anterior, también se investigan datos epidemio- lógicos actuales en este grupo etario y se determina cuáles son los principales factores de riesgo y recomendaciones para su detección.The following bibliographical review has as main objective to determine which are the most frequent radiological findingsof breast cancer, with emphasis on the female population under 40 years of age, as well as what are the behaviors to be followed by the radiologist. In addition, a conclusion of these findings will be made with their respective histopathological and molecular results. To complement the above, current epidemiological data in this age group will also be investigated, and the main risk factors and recommendations for its detection will be determined.
