Determinación de un procedimiento de ensayo para el cálculo del IRI

Abstract

El presente informe muestra diferentes formas de calcular el Índice de Rugosidad Internacional (IRI) para establecer una metodología de ensayo como control receptivo en los proyectos de infraestructura vial de Costa Rica, estableciendo el intervalo de longitud para su determinación. Lo anterior, con el fin de reconocer la regularidad superficial del pavimento en cualquier momento desde el inicio de su periodo de servicio o en cualquier momento de la vida útil, y permitir definir las acciones de conservación o rehabilitación necesarias en el momento pertinente.

The following report shows different ways of calculating the International Roughness Index (IRI) to establish a testing methodology as a receptive control in road infrastructure projects in Costa Rica, establishing the interval length for its determination, with the object of recognizing the pavement surface’s regularity in any moment from the start of its period of service or in any other moment of its useful life, and allow to define the necessary conservation or rehabilitation actions at the right moment.
