It can affect different systems in the body, causing organ failure and eventually lead to death; therefore it is a diagnosis to be taken into consideration when assessing patients at risk. Surgical decompression of the abdominal cavity is the main treatment modality.Ítem FEMENINA DE 23 AÑOS CON INJERTO COMPUESTO NO VASCULARIZADO DE APARATO UNGUEAL(2011-11-01 00:00:00) Centeno Rodríguez, MadeleinThe author reports a case of a 23 years old fe- male who suffered an abrasive trauma of the dorsal aspect of the distal phalanx of her right index finger, with complete loss of the fingernail, nail bed and nail matrix. The reconstruction was performed with a non-vascularized composite nail graft taken from the second right toe. A very good esthetic result of the index finger was obtained, with minimal defect of the donor site
