| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo no pretende ser particularmente innovador. Existen ya muchos que pretenden serlo. No existe un secreto oculto para los no iniciados. Nuestro propósito es mucho más simple, mas no menos relevante, el hacer el origen y la evolución de los términos ética y moral lo más explícito posible para los estudiantes que dan sus primeros pasos en el estudio de la deontología jurídica, un tema que a veces no recibe la atención que merece por parte de las facultades de Derecho. Quien dice origen y evolución también dice palabra, porque en el comienzo de las cosas siempre está el lenguaje, de ahí que este primer paso esté enraizado en el análisis lingüístico de la ética y la moral. No podemos pensar en un problema que pueda ser abordado antes que este si se pretende realizar un estudio serio y coherente sobre deontología. Aquí nos dedicaremos a aclarar los antecedentes etimológicos de los términos moral y ética, sus usos lingüísticos modernos, así como los contenidos conceptuales asignados a las nociones de ética descriptiva, ética normativa y, especialmente, metaética. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | This paper does not intend to be particularly innovative. Many already seek to be so. There is no hidden secret for the uninitiated. Our purpose is much simpler, though no less relevant; this is to make the origin and evolution of the term ethics and morals as explicit as possible for those students who take their first step into the study of legal deontology, a subject that sometimes does not receive a deserved attention from law schools. Anyone speaking of origin and evolution is also speaking of the word because language is always the beginning of things. Hence this first step is rooted in the linguistic analysis of the term ethics and morals. We cannot think of any issues that can be addressed before this, if we want to conduct a serious and coherent study on deontology. Here, we will clarify the etymological background of the term morals and ethics and their modern linguistic uses as well as the conceptual contents assigned to the notions of descriptive ethics, normative ethics, and especially metaethics. | es_ES |
