Abstract
This research was carried out with the intention of creating sustainability proposals for the community of Calle Zamora that are managed by the Professional Technical High School. For this, a field work was carried out through surveys and interviews with key actors in the community, to learn about the context before the establishment of the high school and also a sample of local residents to know which socioeconomic and environmental aspects have improved or failed since its management. In addition, local shops of the community and the principal of the High School were interviewed to learn about the management of the school. Among the main results, it was obtained that the Professional Technical College of Calle Zamora has collaborated with the fulfillment of several Sustainable Development objectives, including: poverty reduction, zero hunger, health and well-being, quality education, drinking water and sanitation, affordable energy, decent work and economic growth, resilient infrastructure, reduction of inequalities, sustainable communities and strong institutions, since its construction these aspects have been progressing. Some deficiencies that should be strengthened were also identified. Hence 4 sustainability proposals are born that will be executed from the Student Community Service. The first one is titled CAMBIUM, which is a proposal for community reforestation. The second is STREAM, created with the intention of developing learning and recreation opportunities for the elderly. The third is ECO-MORFOSIS, where it is proposed to carry out responsible practices on the care and cleanliness of the environment and finally CULTUR-ARTE with the aim of developing cultural and artistic activities that encourage community participation towards Sustainable Development.
