Resumen
El temario que se desarrolla en este documento; corresponde al resultado
de una investigación llevada a término con el cuerpo docente de un centro
educativo, en donde los índices de violencia escolar manifestada por el
estudiantado, sobrepasaban la media internacional.
El objetivo general fue el de desarrollar un programa de instrucción para
el grupo seleccionado, el cual brindara algunas estrategias para abordar el
maltrato entre pares desde el aula. Para esto se generó una temática variada;
sin embargo para efectos de este documento, se proponen únicamente
cinco puntos relevantes, que pueden servir de guía a otros docentes, dentro
de los que se incluyen:
a) Sensibilización acerca del maltrato entre pares en la escuela.
b) Devolución de resultados.
c) La familia y la escuela.
d) Cómo aplicar algunas técnicas de modificación de conducta
en el aula.
e) Estrategias de intervención conducentes a la elaboración de
un protocolo para la institución.
En Costa Rica, en los últimos años se ha detectado que el maltrato entre
pares ha ido aumentando. Si bien es cierto que se han tomado medidas
para intervenirlo, estas no son suficientes para controlar el problema, de
allí que sea necesario el implementar nuevos programas que se complementen
con las guías educativas, y desde donde se aborde este fenómeno.
Se presentan algunos contenidos que se compartieron con
el profesorado de un centro educativo seleccionado para el fin propuesto,
los cuales podrían servir de base; para que otros docentes detecten e
intervengan el maltrato escolar desde el salón de clases.
ABSTRACT: The syllabus developed in this document corresponds to the result of a research carried out with the teaching staff of a school where the indicators of school violence as told by students surpassed the international average. The general objective was to develop a program of instructions for said group which would provide some strategies to address peer bullying to conduct in the classroom. For this, a varied theme was created; however, for the purpose of this document, only five relevant points are proposed that can serve as a guide for other teachers including: a) Awareness of school peer bullying. b) Delivery of results. c) Family and school. d) How to apply some behavior modification techniques in the classroom. e) Intervention strategies conducive to the development of a protocol for the institution. In recent year, an increase in peer bullying has been detected in Costa Rica. Although it is true that intervention measures have been taken, they are not enough to control the problem; hence there is a need to implement new programs that complement the educational guidelines, and from where this phenomenon can be addressed. Some content is put forth that was shared with teachers from an educational center selected for said purpose which could serve as a basis for other teachers to identify and intervene in school bullying from the classroom.
