Evaluación de dos reguladores de crecimiento para enraizamiento en acodo aereo en Dracaena deremensis engler cv. Janet craig corriente

Abstract

En Baltimore, Limón, Costa Rica se evaluaron dos reguladores de crecimiento (AIB y ANA) a cuatro concentraciones (0, 2000, 4000 y 6000 ppm) en acodo aéreo en Dracaena deremensis Engler cv. Janet Craig corriente. Se relizó la evaluación a las cinco semanas midiendo número de raíces, largo de las raíces, ubicación de las raíces, altura de las plantas y apreciaciones sobre fitotoxicidad de los reguladores. No se observaron síntomas de toxicidad de los reguladores, pues no hubo raíces deformes ni pudrición de cortes. En cuanto al número de raíces los mejores tratamientos fueron AIB 6000, AIB 4000 y ANA 4000, y en longitud de raíces el mejor tratamiento fue AIB 6000 seguido por AIB 4000 y ANA 2000 ppm.

Two growth tregulators (IBA and NAA), at the rates of 0, 2000, 4000 and 6000 ppa, were evaluated on the rooting of air layers of Dracaena deremensis engler (cv. common Janet Craig) in Baltimore, Limon-Costa Rica. The parameters evaluated at five weeks were: the number of roots, plant height and toxicity syntoms of the regulators. No toxicity of the regulators was observed, since there was no difference on plants’ height. There were no off-shaped roots neither rotting of the cuts. In relation to the number of roots, the best treatment was IBA-6000, followed by IBA-4000 and NAA-2000.
