En Costa Rica la población nicaragüense realiza las laborales que han sido relegadas por las personas nativas. Sin embargo, existen mitos que infravaloran y estigmatizan la presencia de esta población en el país, los cuales se fundamentan, en parte, en la ideología del discurso neoliberal. Pero, no sólo el país se ha estado beneficiando de la fuerza de trabajo global sino que, principalmente, las élites se enriquecen por medio de la explotación, en especial en el área de la construcción.
This article is about the Nicaraguan workers in Costa Rica. The article present the labor conditions of Nicaraguan migration and the influence of the neo-liberal ideas to denigrate the contributions of that population. The article explores some kinds of exploitation that labour migration people face in Costa Rica in the neo-liberal context. In the meantime, the global labor force is subject of deregulation, casualization and informalization.
