From a brief review about an unpublished record of dances, testimonies and writings by the choreographer, dancer, writer Iris Scaccheri (1939-2014) we will focus on the subjectivity in her creations. We study the particularities of their dances and the relationship with the production and artistic context, located between the 60’s and the 80’s in Argentina. Our approach supposes rescuing a tendency of dance, forgotten nowadays. Her body represents a broken culture by the political-social situation, that’s why freedom, expression and creativity are expressed by dancing metaphors.
