Estandarización de inventario de madurez vocacional de John O. Crites para estudiantes de IX año de la educación general básica y XI año de la educación diversificada de los centros educativos académicos diurnos de Costa Rica.

Abstract

En el ámbito nacional existen pocas pruebas que estandarizadas que sean útiles para orientar a los estudiantes de Educación Diversificada. Es por ello que un estudio tendiente a revisar estos aspectos es de gran importancia. A través de esta investigación, se vio que no existen diferencias importantes en la madurez vocacional entre hombres y mujeres, pero sí las hay entre jóvenes de áreas rurales y urbanas, favoreciendo al primer grupo. En cuanto a las regiones del país, se notó que es en la Atlántica donde existe el menor grado de madurez vocacional del país. En lo que respecta a edades, es mucho más fuerte la madurez vocacional alrededor de los 17 años, y según parece, por lo menos en los adolescentes, esa madurez incrementa con la edad. Se incluye en los anexos un formato para esta prueba.

ABSTRACT: At the national level, there are few tests that are standardized that are useful to guide diversified education students. That is why a study aimed at reviewing these aspects is of great importance. Through this research, it was seen that there are no important differences in vocational maturity between men and women, but there are differences between young people in rural and urban areas, favoring the first group. Regarding the regions of the country, it was noted that it is in the Atlantic the least degree of vocational maturity in the country. Regarding ages, vocational maturity around 17 years is much stronger, and it seems, at least in adolescents, that maturity increases with age. A format for this test is included in the annexes.
