El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las representaciones sobre el barrio y la ciudad que poseen los habitantes de dos villas miseria de la localidad de José Hernández, al noroeste de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Considerando no tanto la distancia física sino la distancia social que evidencian sus trayectos cotidianos hacia el centro de la ciudad.es
