Su voz ha recorrido el mundo y se ha presentado en los mejores escenarios de Europa y América. La fama la lleva a una creciente adicción al alcohol que la hace sucumbir. Fue redescubierta por el cineasta español Pedro Almodóvar, en 1990, y resurgió como el Ave Fénix. Retirada, vive actualmente en Veracruz, México.es-ES
