dc.descriptionThis article takes up the main theoretical concepts concerning the social explanation of myth. In relation to the psychological conception it contrasted junguian and freudian positions considering the place and role of the mythology within these theoretical constructs and their implications for phylogenetic and ontological level. Deep Hermeneutic is proposed as theory and social and psychological research method for the analysis and understanding of myths and legends because it promotes the integration of psychic and cultural reality in which are develop these human productions.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo retoma las principales concepciones teóricas relativas a la explicación social del mito. En relación a la concepción psicológica se contrastan las posiciones junguiana y freudina, considerando el lugar y la función de la mitología al interior de dichas construcciones teóricas y sus consecuencias a nivel onto y filogenético. El artículo plantea la hermenéutica profunda como teoría y método de indagación social y psicológica, útil para el análisis y comprensión de los mitos y leyendas, ya que propicia una integración de la realidad psíquica y cultural en que se desenvuelven dichas producciones humanas.es-ES
