LA PERVERSIÓN

Abstract

This paper tries to give a historical view to what has been considered as perverse through different cultures and societies until the conceptualizations outlined by the psychoanalytic theory from Sigmund Freud to Jacques Lacan. This historical route starts in Ancient Greece and goes through the Middle Age, the sexology of the late nineteenth century, the previous psychoanalytical authors and the classification made by the DSM-IV and the ICD-10. This paper tries to show the relativity of the different conceptualizations of the perverse and the perversion and how the psychoanalytical theory has defined these phenomena.

El presente trabajo pretende brindar un marco histórico acerca de lo que se ha considerado como perverso a lo largo del tiempo hasta llegar a las conceptualizaciones esbozadas por las teoría psicoanalítica de Sigmund Freud y posteriormente de Jacques Lacan. Este recorrido histórico se inicia con la antigüedad clásica (Grecia y Roma), pasando por la Edad Media, la sexología de finales del siglo XIX y los dos autores psicoanalíticos previamente mencionados hasta llegar a la clasificación realizada por el DSM-IV y el CIE-10 acerca de lo que anteriormente se conocía como perversión. Se plantea como propósito demostrar la relatividad en la que han estado inmersas las diferentes conceptualizaciones sobre lo perverso y la perversión y como en la teoría psicoanalítica estos fenómenos han sido definidos.
