Fertilización fosfórica en frijol (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) con cafeto (Coffea arabica L.) en Heredia

Abstract

El efecto de dosis crecientes de fósforo (0, 50, 100 y 150 kg/ha de P205 aplicado en banda al momento de la siembra se evaluó en dos cultivares de frijol (Huetar; grano rojo y Talamanca; grano negro, de habito II-A), intercalados con cafeto, cv. Caturra (en la hilera con poda baja con ciclo de cinco años) en Santo Domingo de Heredia, Costa Rica. Las plantas de cafeto estaban sembradas a pleno sol a 1,20 m entre hileras y 0,84 entre plantas. Se utilizó un diseño experimental de bloques completos al azar con un arreglo factorial 4 x 2 y 12 repeticiones. Hubo diferencia significativas (P ≤ 0.01) entre las dosis de fósforo para la producción de granos. El mayor incremento en rendimiento se dio con las dosis de 150 y 50 kg/ha de P205 para el cultivar Huetar, y Talamanca respectivamente. La producción promedio fue de 441 kg de frijol por hectárea de cafetal.

The effect of P205 rates (0, 50, 100 and 150 kg/ha were evaluated an the red bean cultivar Huetar Ila and on the black bean cultivar Talamanca IIa, intercropped with Caturra coffee cultivar. The side dreseed fertilization , was applied at planting time. The distance between rows and coffee plants were 1.20 m and 0.84 m, respectively. The coffee plantation was grown unshaded and prunned on a five year cycle. The treatments were arranged in a Complete Randomized Block Design with twelve replication. There were significant differences in grain yield among phosphorus rates. The greatest yield increment was obtained with the P205 doses of 50 and 150 kg/ha for the cultivars Talamanca and Huetar, respectively. The average production 441 kg of bean grain per coffee hectare.
