| dc.description | The study wasconducted with the rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum)cultivars R-134, R-162, R-167, Jitlee and Rongrien. Allcultivars showed red oval fruits with spines, which turned redlater than the rind did. The fruit weigth (32.7 to 37.3 g), fleshper fruit (40.8 to 51.9%), Brix (18.3 to 18.6) and the easilyflesh removal from the seed, agreed with the qualitystandards for fresh fruit export or canning. The N was themost abundant nutrient in the fruit (77 to 87 mg), followed indecreasing order by K (63 to 81 mg), Ca (22 to 31 mg), P (11to 13 mg), Mg (9 to 13 mg) and S (4 to 6). | dc.description | El estudio se realizócon los cultivares de rambután (Nepheliun lappaceum) R-134, R-162, R-167, Jitlee y Rongrien. La totalidad de los cultivarespresentaron frutos ovalados de color rojo intenso ycon espinas que cambiaron a dicho color una vez que la totalidadde la cáscara lo hubiera hecho. El peso del fruto (32,7 a37,3 g), el porcentaje de pulpa en el fruto (40,8 a 51,9%), elporcentaje de grados Brix (18,3 a 18,6) y la fácil y total remoción entre la pulpa y la semilla, estuvieron en concordanciacon los requerimientos para su uso como fruta fresca exportableo enlatable. El N fue el nutrimento más abundante enel fruto (77 a 87 mg), seguido en orden decreciente por el K(63 a 81 mg), el Ca (22 a 31 mg), el P (11 a 13 mg) el Mg (9a 13 mg), y el S (4 a 6 mg).
