Abstract
This article is not based on defining death, rather, it seeks to demonstrate that the Aeneid is a poem of death, that Virgilio approaches this phenomenon with recurrence, which uses the death of a large number of characters as a literary resource , Because the deaths allow the fluidity of the text, that is, the deaths occur because it is necessary for there to be an impeller of the action.
