Abstract
Soccer by its characteristics, forces the physical trainers of the teams, to structure training that optimizes the development of the specific strength. Within the used methods, the divided method or training of intervals is most effective, by the discontinuous character whereupon it works (particular of the match), using the division of the effort as a process. The improvements take place at the aerobic and anaerobic metabolism level, in addition it allows for more working time, of high intensity and with the handling of varied speeds. These types of works are possible with the ball, so that the players can adjust to competition reality.
