dc.descriptionThis qualitative study focusses on the association between the individual and group cognitiveprocessing of films and the formation of social identity related to the nation category.The results show the presence of in-group favoritism after the viewing of the films, in bothcontext of processing, however, in the group processing was clearer the favoritism. Therewere differences between the two types of processing in relation to the prevalence of contentcategorization and the assigned valence to that categorization.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo se presentan las semejanzas y diferencias en la formación de la identidadsocial vinculada a la categoría nación, a partir del procesamiento individual y grupal despuésde ver dos filmes evocadores de comparación intergrupal. Los resultados indican lapresencia de favoritismo endogrupal. En el contexto de procesamiento grupal fue más clarodicho favoritismo. Se encontraron diferencias entre ambos tipos de procesamiento en loreferente al predominio de los contenidos de categorización empleados y la valencia asignadaa dicha categorización.es-ES
