dc.descriptionLos artículos sobre estratigrafía sedimentaria y sedimentología, publicados durante los 30 años de existencia de la Revista Geológica de América Central, muestra la importancia que ha tenido la Revista, para dar a conocer los avances en los estudios de éstas disciplinas, principalmente en Costa Rica, a pesar de los esfuerzos hay pocos trabajos sobre otras áreas. Se analizaron 36 artículos, de los cuales 22 fueron realizados por nacionales, 8 por extranjeros en conjunto con nacionales y 6 por extranjeros. A partir de 1991 se inicia la publicación de una serie de mapas geológicos con la correspondiente descripción geológica y estratigráficaes-ES
dc.descriptionThe articles about sedimentary stratigraphy and sedimentology published over the 30 years of existence of ‘Revista Geológica de América Central’ showcase the importance that it has had in divulging advances in these disciplines, mainly in Costa Rica. 36 articles were analyzed, out of which, 22 were created by costaricans, 8 by scientists from other nationalities and costaricans working together, and 6 by scientists from other nationalities.
