dc.description	The narrators of these 304 horror stories, the origin of which is now lost in time, are 16 women and 32 men, born in between 1911 and 1943 in Juan Viñas, the main town of the canton of Jiménez (Cartago, Costa Rica), or in one of its adjacent towns: Santa Marta (formerly "Little Hell"), El Sitio (which includes San Martín, Buenos Aires and La Victoria), La Gloria and El Congo. To keep the informants anonymous, we present only their initials.	en-US
dc.description	Quienes narran estos 304 cuentos terroríficos cuyo origen se pierde en la inmensa noche del tiempo, son 16 mujeres y 32 hombres, nacidos entre 1911 y 1943, en Juan Viñas, cabecera del cantón Jiménez (Cartago) o en sus caseríos aledaños: Santa Marta (el antiguo Infiernillo), El Sitio (incluye San Martín, Buenos Aires y La Victoria), La Gloria y El Congo o son residentes muy antiguos de estos lugares. Para mantener el anonimato, se consignan solo las letras iniciales de sus nombres, que se repiten cuando los hechos narrados por un mismo cuentista ocurren en escenarios diferentes.	es-ES
