dc.description	This article is about the just baptized “Plaza de las Artes”. It is one of the projects of the process than several years ago. The Major of the city of San Jose started the urban renovation of the city and those good yields has offered. The lamentable thing is not the good intention but the inadequate of space which has been remodelled since there are several architectonical structures declared national patrimony existing is this site: Nuestra Señora de La Soledad and Casa San Pancracio, ICOMOS office in Costa Rica. In this new city is common that the urban space is baptized and red baptized, modelled and remodelled to the ill of those who shows the power. What concerns the archaeological track the collective memory of the citizen, the existential space of the district, what interests is “to make history”, to patent spaces to immortalized nomenclature.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo trata sobre la recién bautizada Plaza de las Artes, más arraigada en la memoria colectiva como Plazoleta de la Soledad. Es un proyecto más del proceso que hace varios años inició el señor Alcalde de la ciudad de San José, en pro de la renovación urbana de la ciudad y que buenos réditos le ha brindado. Lo lamentable no es la buena intención, sino la inadecuada remodelación espacial, ya que en este sitio existen varias estructuras arquitectónicas declaradas patrimonio nacional: el templo de Nuestra Señora de la Soledad y la Casa San Pancracio, sede del ICOMOS de Costa Rica. Resulta común en esta ciudad novicia, que el espacio urbano se bautiza y rebautiza, se modela y remodela, al antojo de quien ostenta el poder. Qué importa la huella arqueológica, la memoria colectiva del ciudadano, el espacio existencial del barrio, lo que interesa es “hacer historia”, “patentar” espacios, inmortalizar nomenclatura.	es-ES
